The "no good lush[es]" of Sharkmuffin have released a new video for their debut album Chartreuse today on Jezebel. The Brooklyn noise punk duo's new video for the song, "Tampons Are for Sluts," involves balloons, a lot of booze, and karaoke. Through its deliberately ironic title, Tarra Thiesson slurs about the voyage of a party queen struggling with the type of romance that can only thrive in those dark, thumping cellars called bars.

Sharkmuffin's debut album Chartreuse is out now on State Capitol Records and Little Dickman. The album features drumming from Patty Schemel (Upset, Death Valley Girls, Hole) and marks a whole new era in their style of music. The noise-punk-meets-psychedelic power pop group has evolved their sound on the new album, and the result is a full length filled with ten tracks of commanding hits.
