Sara Bareilles to Release New Album, Launch 18-City Tour this Summer

Sara Bareilles is prepping for her return to the spotlight.

The singer/songwriter announced today that she is set to release her third studio album this summer before launching the 18-city BRAVE ENOUGH tour. The full dates are listed below.

"I have been confronting some of my greatest fears in the last handful of months and have been amazed at how empowered I can feel when I muster up the courage to turn and growl back at those monsters under the bed," Bareilles said today in a statement "The songs on this album are a true reflection of everything I've come to experience in recent months."

Bareilles achieved mainstream success in 2007 with the hit single LOVE SONG, which brought her into the number one spot on the Billboard Pop 100 chart. She released her sophomore album, KALEIDOSCOP HEART, which shot to the top of the charts during its debut week. In 2012, the songbird collaborated with Ben Folds for the ONCE UPON ANOTHER TIME EP. She most recently appeared as one of the judges on NBC's accapella competition show THE SING OFF, which was recently announced to be returning for a second season.

The first single from her upcoming untitled album, BRAVE, is set for release on April 23.
