Thursday, March 27, at 8 p.m. is going to be a rare, intimate solo performance at The Ridgefield Playhouse with music and storytelling by multi-Grammy winner Rick Springfield. His 17 Top 40 Hits include "Don't Talk to Strangers", "An Affair of the Heart", "I've Done Everything for You", "Love Somebody" and "Human Touch" not to mention the 1981 Grammy for Best Male Rock Vocal win for his No. 1 hit single "Jessie's Girl". Fast forwarding through his stellar career, this Australian-born singer/actor has more to say with his latest Universal Music Enterprises release Songs for the End of the World. 98Q's Rich Minor will host a special Q&A session with Rick Springfield following the show. Rick Springfield has sold a whopping 25 million albums. As an actor, he is known as Dr. Noah Drake on the daytime drama General Hospital. In addition to his TV and film roles, Springfield has had a stint in musical theatre as a member of the original Broadway cast of the Tony Award-nominated Smokey Joe's Café. Springfield is also set to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, for his contributions to music.
