Radiation City X G Force 'A Different Animal' Remix LP Streaming Now!

Radiation City just released their highly anticipated sophomore studio album, Animals In The Median, via Tender Loving Empire. Effortlessly blending vintage soul with modern electronic sounds, the album has already received critical acclaim from VICE's Noisey, Rolling Stone & many more.

It was only natural that the Portland quintet would team up with TxE's G_Force, who they met on a Portland basketball court, to remix the entire album. Watch a mini-documentaryabout how the project came to be. Aptly titled A Different Animal, the genre-bending collaboration will be released on June 18. While some songs feature Radiation City hooks in their entirety, others distort the original RC samples until they're almost unrecognizable. The collaborating emcees come from all corners of the US hip hop scene. Notables include everyone from Academy Award-winning Juicy J & underground hip hop heavy weightsStrong Arm Steady to Chicago's trumpeteering R&B dark horse Sam Trump & Oregon's own Sandpeople's Sapient.
