New Orleans songwriter, rapper and producer Pell debuts a new track today via NYLON. Listen to Vanilla Sky, which NYLON calls "a soulful confessional about owning up to your faults, staying humble, and accepting criticism," below!

Pell is in the midst of a completely sold-out, nationwide tour opening for Kehlani including dates at two nights this week at Los Angeles' The Roxy and a further two nights at San Francisco's Slim's. Pell will continue to tour this summer, making appearances the U.K.'s Reading and Leeds Festivals, Amsterdam's Encore Festival and more. Currently in the studio with TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek, Pell will release new music this fall. Further details are forthcoming.

Consequence of Sound recently premiered "Vacation (Whole Week)," calling the track "a triumphant victory lap for a young rapper at the nascent of his career. Over a breezy beat, Pell delivers an effortless flow that boasts his accomplishments. It's a complete summer jam." Listen here.

Pell rose to prominence following the 2014 independent release of his debut album Floating While Dreaming, which Pigeons & Planes calls "up there with the best." Since, he's been named to Complex's Top 25 Rappers To Know, Pigeons & Planes Top 10 Rappers to Know Before They Blow, and Spotify's Predicted Music Stars of 2015 and played shows nationwide including SXSW and New Orleans' Buku Festival.
