Music at the Mansion Continues in January

NiCori Studios and Productions in association with the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, Music at the Mansion, on Sunday, January 25, at 3pm. Performers include Daryl Glenn, Gas Lamp Players and Marieann Meringolo.

Daryl Glenn is an award winning entertainer based in New York City. Originally from Lexington, Kentucky he has toured internationally in musical theatre (Annie, Ken Hill's Phantom) and performed in a variety of regional productions such as Man of La Mancha, The Music Man and On The Twentieth Century. He appeared at the prestigious Feinstein's at Loew's Regency in 2010 with a tribute to Stephen Sondheim entitled, Daryl Sings Steve. Mr. Glenn is best known for his acclaimed triple award-winning (2009 Bistro, MAC and Nightlife Awards) tribute to Robert Altman's classic 1975 film, Nashville in which he co-stars with Broadway performer/musical director Jo Lynn Burks.

Gas Lamp Players is a non-profit arts organization based in Glen Ridge, NJ. Gas Lamp Academy of Performing Arts offers acting and musical theater classes for students ages 6 to adult. Gas Lamp Players will be doing a portion of "Shrek, the Musical", their winter main stage show which will be performed at the Ridgewood Avenue School February 6 - 8, 2015.

The New York Times says..."Marieann Meringolo a singer who bears some physical and vocal resemblance to Barbra Streisand...delivers songs about love lost and strength found...Sung in Grand Style."

Marieann Meringolo is a MAC Award-Winning recording artist as well as a Back Stage Bistro Award-Winner for "Outstanding Vocalist". Ms. Meringolo is a recording artist who has performed at Feinstein's at Loews Regency, Joe's pub...at The Public Theater, Iridium, Metropolitan Room, The Friars Club, The Laurie Beechman Theatre, The Rainbow Room, The Hammerstein Ballroom and Tavern On The Green. She has several recordings that have been played on radio stations and the internet around the world, and has been heard on selected United Airlines flights as well as the Vice Presidents airplane - Air Force II. Marieann has also had the honor of performing live at the United Nations.

"Music at the Mansion" is a 2012 MAC award nominated series showcasing talented performers from NYC and NJ. The series is hosted by NYC Cabaret singer and Bloomfield resident Corinna Sowers-Adler and will feature Deborah Martin on piano. Series hostess, Corinna Sowers-Adler, has been nominated as "Best Host of a Variety Show" and "Best Female Vocalist" for the 2012 and 2014 Broadway World Cabaret Awards. Sowers-Adler was a featured soloist at the 25th Annual New York Cabaret Convention held in the Rose Theater of Jazz at Lincoln Center this past October. She recently made her solo debut at BROADWAY's Supper Club - 54 BELOW. Corinna has also toured and performed her solo cabaret shows Stories, By Request, Songs From the Heart and Let Me Sing and I'm Happy at venues in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

Tickets for "Music at the Mansion" are $10 per person and are available at the door. Seating begins at 2:30pm. Light refreshments will be served.
