BroadwayWorld recently attended the launch of MOTRIN's #WomanInProgress campaign with a distinguished panel that included Tracee Ellis Ross, the Golden Globe, Emmy-Award winning actress, comedian, and producer.

She was joined by other influential voices that included Vivian Odior, Gabby Bernstein, Jessamyn Stanley, Ana Flores and Tali Sharot. The women had a vibrant conversation that entailed how they have shifted their perspective on painful moments to enrich and expand their personal growth.

Tracee Ellis Ross brought insightful and interesting perspectives to the discussion. She said that she was pleased to join the campaign and that it was "inspiring a positive conversation." She further commented, "What comes from pain are the things I never thought were there. Pain is a gift in a lot of ways." She encouraged people to "take a conscious breath and breathe into the feeling" noting that oftentimes disappointment is an inevitable part of life.

Gabby Bernstein, New York Times best-selling author of "The Universe Has Your Back; Oprah's Super Soul Sunday" suggested that women can bring the message of #womaninprogress to others including the men in their lives. "Be the light and be an example of your change and progress. Don't enable and protect. Allow others to go through their pain."

Motrin's mission statement about the #womaninprogress campaign is truly encouraging. "It's true, life's not perfect. And you shouldn't be expected to be perfect either. Striving to have it all, do it all and be it all, well, isn't at all reality, and actually can be painful. Some days, you come close so go ahead and celebrate that. Other days you don't come so close. You might even utterly fail. In life, sometimes we may have to take a step back, to take a step forward. It might hurt, but we gain experience and learning along the way. At Motrin, we want to celebrate the journey. Every bit. The joys of your highs, pains of your lows and everything in between. Because we are all women in progress."
