Michelle Williams Premieres New Video 'Fire'; Announces New Website

Grammy winning songstress, songwriter and actress Michelle Williams has just premiered the sizzling new video for "Fire," the hit song off her much-anticipated upcoming inspirational album Journey to Freedom. Directed by Derek Blanks, "Fire" is a sumptuous feast of vivid color and light, complementing the intensity of Williams' vocals, powerful lyrics and furious beats driving listeners in finding strength and encouragement to overcome personal trials. Concurrently, this also marks the debut of Michelle Williams' new website, IAmMichelle.com.

Produced by Harmony Samuels, "Fire" marks Williams' second collaboration with the superstar producer for her upcoming fourth studio album, following the release of the Samuels-produced first single "If We Had Your Eyes." Delivering lush numbers showcasing Williams' dazzling vocal range and forging creative new sounds, "Fire" and "If We Had Your Eyes" are just a taste of much more to come on a blowout new record.

Along with debuting more from her new album to come, Williams continues an impressive slate of upcoming projects in theater, music performances, and television, starring in the North American arena tour as "Mary Magdalene" in the acclaimed musical "Jesus Christ Superstar," for a star-studded summer tour that begins June 9th. Performing a set at the Essence Festival on July 5th, Williams is also serving up her musical expertise to other artists, as a mentor for the upcoming new television series "Fix My Choir" that will air on Oxygen.
