After numerous sold out shows across the U.S., Martina McBride's 'Everlasting' Tour will bring the "petite powerhouse" (Rolling Stone Country) to the Capitol Center for the Arts on September 26, at 8pm.

Backed by an 11-piece band - including trumpet, tenor sax, bari sax and trombone and a trio of back-up singers - Martina's live show brings the iconic sounds of the '50s and '60s from her 'Everlasting' album alive. "We've worked hard to put together a show that is visually entertaining as well as very rich musically," shares Martina. "There's so much for the audience to see and experience."

"It's familiar music coming from one of the most recognizable voices of any genre, yet with a stage plot unlike anything in McBride's illustrious 22-year career" (Rolling Stone Country).

The four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year puts her own spin on some of her favorite R&B and soul classics including the Supremes' "Come See About Me," Van Morrison's "Wild Night" and Otis Redding's "I've Been Loving You Too Long" but also performs fan favorites like "A Broken Wing," "Love's The Only House," "This One's For The Girls," "Independence Day," and "In My Daughter's Eyes."

"I feel like this show really takes the audience on a musical journey," says McBride. "The songs from 'Everlasting' and my hits blend seamlessly together throughout the night."

Martina McBride has been awarded 14 Gold Records, nine Platinum honors, three Double Platinum Records, two Triple Platinum awards, and been recognized for selling over 18 million units. The Country Music Association has named her its Female Vocalist of the Year four times. The Academy of Country Music has presented her with its Top Female honor three times. The Recording Academy has nominated her for 14 Grammy Awards.
