Formerly playing under the name You Say France & I Whistle, Like Swimming is Ida Hedene, Claes Carlström, and Petter Wesslander, an indie pop trio who combine bouncy, lighthearted melodies with some very melancholy lyrics ("I'll hang you upside down and let you drain for days"). And even better? They're not too cool to pantomime the term "Go Buffalo" by bounding through the forest wearing animal heads in their brand-new video.

Featuring the all-blond band rocking out in a dusty-looking barn, the video for "Go Buffalo" is as much charming as it is vaguely baffling. Sure, we've seen plenty of indie rock outfits utilize a garage / barn / underpass for their practice space (after all, they recorded the track in a small cabin outside of Norrtälje), but to whip your clothes off and go running through the fields in only your skivvies and a giant rubber deer head? (Because please don't let that be the real thing.)

Halloween's not TOO far off, but we're guessing that Like Swimming's reasons for dashing around like wild animals serves a greater, more minimalistic purpose. Maybe they want to shirk their IRL responsibilities, iPhones, and other bothersome technology and just get back to nature à la "Walden's Pond." Or, more relevantly, the penultimate episode of "Breaking Bad." ("Breaking Buffalo," LOL.) Well, whatever the case, everyone needs a little R&R. Or, um... B&B.

Catch Like Swimming at CMJ in NYC this month, among other U.S. tour dates!
