Los Angeles-based pop starlet MADI WOLF is feeling pretty lucky these days. Her new single, "Lucky" first premiered last week (5/12) on TwistMagazine.com, which dubbed the song "catchy" and "a fun new jam to add to your playlist," before landing on Spotify and racking up nearly 5,000 spins to date. Tonight (5/17), "Lucky" will be introduced to a national TV audience as it'll be featured on the premiere episode of Mark Burnett's latest primetime TV series, "Coupled," airing tonight at 9/8c on FOX, as well as several episodes throughout the season. "Lucky" is the first song to be released off MADI's forthcoming EP Glare, due out later this summer.

"Lucky" is streaming now on Spotify and will be available on iTunes June 10;listen now here.
The track is produced by Isaac Hasson (Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez) and was co-written by MADI, Isaac and musicians Ryan Cabrera and Nash Overstreet."'Lucky' is about loving someone through the good times and bad," MADI explains. "It's about bad luck in one's life and through it all they still see how lucky they are because they have that special someone. It's an upbeat song that still possesses a deeper meaning."
On the live front, MADI will preview songs off her EP Glare on Saturday, May 21at The Kibitz Room in Los Angeles. Tickets are just $10 and on sale now via theapp FanFlex (available free in the App Store). As is evident from this newly released stripped down acoustic performance of an unreleased original song "Phenomenon," MADI can deliver equipped with just her commanding voice and guitar: https://youtu.be/kTaxRw0eyn4.
MADI has been perfecting her craft since she was a very young girl growing up in Fredericksburg, VA. The singer/songwriter/musician (guitar, piano) wrote her first songs when she was 7-years-old, formed her first band at age 10, sold out her first show at age 13 and at 14 was offered a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music. MADI always knew music was her destiny. Throughout her career, she has worked alongside numerous A-list and award-winning songwriters and producers including Rob Fusari (Lady Gaga), Jim Jonsin (Beyonce, Usher),Luney Tunez (Rihanna), Justin Gray (Mariah Carey, Amy Winehouse) and more. She has opened for Jordin Sparks (American Idol) and Johnny Rzeznik (Goo Goo Dolls), and will continue to add more live shows to her 2016 schedule.
In a review from very early on in MADI's music career, her local hometown paperThe Free Lance-Star wrote, "Take the sweetness of Taylor Swift and the gifted jazz ambition of Norah Jones and throw in a genuine sense of Virginia charm, and you've got Madi. But she's no copycat. Her music reveals a unique personality that seems to be maturing in its own direction with each and every strum of the guitar." (5/10/12)
