Leddy Center School Offering Guitar Lessons

Leddy Center School offers private guitar lessons for children, teens and adults! Whether you are young or young at heart and whether you'd like to learn to play guitar or just brush up on your technique, now is your chance to learn from an award winning singer-songwriter and composer!

Dan Searl is a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, Dan performs regularly in the Boston area, including Boston's Hard Rock Café and The Palladium in Worcester, MA. He has studied with acclaimed guitarist Richie Hart, as well as Dave Seiler, Mark Shilansky, and David Newsam. Dan composed and performed in Dave Seiler's Big Band, performing at the renowned Clark Terry Jazz Festival. He has also been featured at countless Music Festivals and venues throughout the northeast.

With strong roots in Jazz, Rock and Alternative music. Searl's sound cultivates a vast array of influences. In 2012, Searl was selected as a Semi-Finalist in Lee Ritenour's international Yamaha Six-String Theory Guitar Competition which showcases the best young Jazz and Fusion players in the world. Dan's international performing career has brought his music throughout the world and has included performances in NYC, Boston, Montreal, QC, and countless other cities across the U.S.

Dan holds the strongest passion for teaching and loves cultivating skill and affection for music in his many students. He has taught at many programs including Best Buy's Fender Endorsed Teaching Program, and the Westford Mentor Program. "For many, music is a creative release.

It does not matter if you are playing AC-DC or Miles Davis, the elements still apply. It should always be fun, stimulating, and musical." says Searl.
