Langhorne Slim Takes On Socio-Political Division & 24-Hour News Cycle With Satirical New Video For LIFE IS CONFUSING

Today, Nashville singer-songwriter Langhorne Slim debuted a poignant new video for his single "Life Is Confusing" via The Bluegrass Situation. The clever video puts a comical twist on the polarizing chaos that ensues from over-the-top news reporting that we are faced with today. In the style of an old TV newscast, Slim and Casey Jane act as serious commentators on a ludacris yet divisive issue within a small town -- what topping will be on the new town hot dog statue, ketchup or mustard? Using this sweet, simplified comparative, the video effortlessly brings home Slim's message of creating positive change through finding commonalities despite our differences in the world today.

Slim recently spoke to Medium about the track here and also had this to say about it: "The song took on an undeniable new depth that made it far more powerful and personal, at least to me. I had thought without a doubt the song was about me and Casey Jane (who sings on the track) and maybe it was, but Trump was elected right around the time the record came out and I'll just say I was very thankful I hadn't submitted a quote for it."

With 12 mil+ Spotify streams and growing, "Life Is Confusing" -- also performed on CONAN -- comes from Slim's most recent Top 10 Americana and Top 25 AAA Non-Commercial album Lost At Last Vol. 1, released last November.
