LIAM BAILEY Drops New Single 'On My Mind;' Album 'Definitely Now' Out 8/19

UK soul/rock singer Liam Bailey will release his debut album Definitely Now, via Flying Buddha/Sony Masterworks on August 19th 2014. The album is now available for pre-order with single "On My Mind" offered as an instant-grat download upon purchase. Today, Bailey unveils the music video for the same single, bringing another gritty and psychedelic dimension to the track. "On My Mind" was unleashed with Paste Magazine and is available HERE to post and share!

Liam Bailey sings with a raw expressiveness that has been compared to Bob Marley and Sam Cooke, while his songwriting style is liable to reference post Punk bands like The Smiths and Oasis. The Nottingham, England native got his initial introduction to the music business via his friend, producer Salaam Remi. Remi introduced Bailey to the late Amy Winehouse, who was so impressed with his music that she signed Bailey to her Lioness Records imprint and recorded 2 EP's with him. Bailey's style is woven together by a lean guitar-driven instrumental sound, perfectly framing both his lyrical and vocal passions.

Liam Bailey will perform a stint of August dates in NYC and LA including NYC's Central Park SummerStage and School Night, and will make his US TV debut on CBS This Morning's Second Cup Café on August 23rd.

Definitely NOW was recorded in New York, Miami and London. It was co-written and produced by Bailey, and Executive Produced by Flying Buddha label head and Executive VP of A&R Salaam Remi.
