A band of bratty banshee best friends, Kitten Forever believes in each other, pets, magic, and you! The feminist punk trio Kitten Forever are excited to be joining Babes in Toyland on their North American Fall Tour (tour dates below). Leading up to the tour, they are pleased to announce the new album 7 Hearts to be released on Atlas Chair (co-founded by JD Samson from MEN, SHARER and Le Tigre) on March 25th 2016 on vinyl/digital (pre-sale HERE). The album's first track "Temple" can be heard/shared HERE and premiered via VICE's Noisey HERE.

Kitten Forever approaches their third full-length album, 7 Hearts, with a big sister attitude; it's wild and hurt with chin held high. Themes of heartbreak, illness, fear, and friendship develop through personal and interpersonal metamorphosis and result in dichotomies of isolation and intimacy, dense sunlight and glittery darkness. Members Liz Elton, Corrie Harrigan, and Laura Larson continue Pressure's ritual of regularly trading off on all instruments, pushing their versatility of multi-faceted songwriting and individual lyrical development. Recorded and mixed by Matt Castore at A Harder Commune Studios in St. Paul, MN and mastered by the accomplished Sarah Register, 7 Hearts is at once caustic, illuminating, fierce, and tender.

15 tracks in just under 30 minutes, the album rapid fire transmutes common experiences and emotions into something of great value, a validation of so many things you feel but don't say. If Pressure was feminist sleepovers, roller discos, and luster, 7 Hearts is a bottle rocket in the dark.

You can see their live performance of "Temple" for The Lowertown Line HERE. The Minneapolis-based band's roots are formed first and foremost in friendship and secondly in feminism. Taking inspiration from riot grrrl, post-punk, and hardcore, Kitten Forever's lo-fi stripped down aesthetic is both personal and tongue-in-cheek; aggressive and disco.
