KEM and MGM Grand Casino Detroit to Host 2014 MACK & THIRD LIVE Concert, Fundraiser and Food Drive This Sunday

Detroit -- KEM & MGM Grand Casino Detroit Present: 2014 Mack & Third LIVE is an all-day concert, fundraiser and food drive to benefit the homeless community, which will take place on August 24, 2014 at the New Detroit Conservancy West RiverWalk Park at 1801 W. Jefferson, Detroit, MI 48216.

The 2014 event will feature: 'A Meal & A Message' for homeless citizens from KEM; several food & merchandise vendors; free health screenings and all-day live concert and comedic entertainment that will conclude with performances by KEM and The O'Jays.

All canned goods, along with merchandise, beverage & other financial profits from the event, will be donated to organizations that assist Metro Detroit's homeless community.

KEM's 2014 Mack & Third event has a new, larger location -- The New Detroit Conservancy West RiverWalk Park at 1801 W. Jefferson, Detroit, MI 48216. The new site has significant meaning, as KEM spent his final night of homelessness and addiction at that location on July 23, 1990. The larger location also provides the capacity to grow in the future, including the expansion of services, levels of assistance and audience capacity.

About KEM: In 2001, KEM independently released his first CD, KEMISTRY, on his Kemistry Records label, selling nearly 15,000 units, after which, he was signed by Universal Motown.
