DIM MAK is thrilled to announce the signing of Los Angeles-based producer Rain Man, via his jaw-dropping bass tune "Dope." Slaying conventional genre boundaries, the gifted producer delivers a relentless hybrid beast that incorporates elements of bass-house, dubstep and trap to face-melting effect. Originally from Chicago, Rain Man spent the past few years as a songwriter and core producer for internationally renowned dance music group Krewella. Their debut studio album, Get Wet (2013), hit #1 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart, boasting the contagious crossover Top 40 hit "Alive."

With "Alive" as his calling card, Rain Man departed from the group in 2014 and set out to conquer the world independently, becoming an in-demand producer and an artist in his own right. In 2015, Rain Main released his first solo track "Visionary," featuring Grammy-winning vocalist Sirah. Billboard called the track "dynamic" and it quickly set the tone for the next phase in Rain Man's career. As a solo artist, he is continuing to re-invent himself. In his own words,

"I have some proving to do yet about my own abilities," says Rain Man. "If I were rooting my ideas or using sketches from previous projects, it's like continuing something that isn't who I am anymore."

Like Rain Man, Dim Mak boasts a longstanding history of punk culture while occupying a cutting-edge position in electronic music. With the liberating announcement and debut of "Dope," the two embark on a partnership that's set to revolutionize the scene.
