Cris Jacobs 'Dust to Gold' Tour Continues; Tops RMR Charts

Cris Jacobs recently released Dust to Gold and has been touring behind his sophomore effort that features his inspired songwriting and soulfully transcendent voice. The album wasn't the only new arrival for Jacobs this year, as the The Washington Post covers, his wife also gave birth to their first daughter, just a few weeks before the album dropped.

Jacobs can now chalk up another arrival as Dust To Gold hits #1 on the RMR Roots Rock & Rock Album charts, seeing strong airplay from WNCW, WTMD, WUTC, WSUM and WDHA, to name a few.

Cris has harnessed over a decade of trans-genre exploration on his sophomore solo album and Wide Open Countryapplauds, "On Dust to Gold, Jacobs draws from the past and present and comes into full maturity as an artist." Jacobs has recently toured with Steve Winwood and Sturgill Simpson and his headlining run continues this week with the richly funky rhythm section of Todd Herrington on bass and Dusty Ray Simmons on drums. Dates with Anders Osborne and JamCruise kick off the new year and expect an extensive 2017 tour announcement behind Dust To Goldin the coming weeks.
