Grammy Award-winning bassist and jazz artist extraordinaire Charlie Haden and his superb ensemble Quartet West are marking their 25th anniversary with a truly unforgettable concert as
part of the Center's own 25th milestone season.

They will bring this special show to Segerstrom Center for a one-night-only performance on February 18 in the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. This intrepid group will play a selection of songs from their acclaimed albums Sophisticated Ladies, The Art of the Song and much more. A free Preview Talk with Bubba Jackson, host of Jazz at Six on KKJZ-FM, will take place at 7 p.m. before the concert.

He has collaborated with a genuinely stunning array of musicians, including Hank Jones, Don Cherry, Dewey Redman, Paul Motian, Jack DeJohnette, Michael Brecker, Kenny Barron and Pat Metheny, with whom Haden shared a Best Jazz Instrumental Individual/Small Group Grammy Award for Beyond the Missouri Sky. Haden was also recently inducted as an NEA Jazz Master by the National Endowment of Arts.
