Bobby Sweet and Adam Michael Rothberg will play together in concert on Saturday, August 11th at 7:30pm at The Spectrum Playhouse. Free with suggested donation of $10.

A Berkshire native and sixth-generation musician, Bobby Sweet began his perfoming career in his father’s band at age 7. As a performer, he has shared the bill with some of the top country and folk artists, including Vince Gill, Bill Staines, Bill Morrissey, Deana Carter, BRyan White, Arlo Guthrie, Pete Seeger, JoNathan Edwards, and Sawyer Brown. Bobby toured in 2008-2009 with Arlo Guthrie’s Lost World Tour, and again with Guthrie in 2010-2011 on his Journey On Tour.In 2011, he was selected as a finalist in the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Contest in Kerrville, TX, and has received honorable mentions from The UK Songwriting Contest, The Billboard Songwriting Contest, and the Mountain Stage NewSong Contest. His warm stage presence and dynamic performing style have built him a devoted following over his past six albums.

Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer Adam Michael Rothberg’s credits include a European tour playing guitar and mandolin with Joan Baez, co-producing Dar Williams’s seminal CD ‘The Honesty Room’, and backing many well-known singer/songwriters including Nashville’s Amy Speace, Boston’s Jacqueline Francis, Kat Goldman, and children’s performer Vanessa Trien.

Named Top 20 Finalist and awarded Honorable Mention in the 12th Annual UniSong Contest, and named Regional Finalist in the Mountain Stage New Song contest, his CD ‘Another Spin’ and the single ‘Here I Go Again’ charted high on the national FolkDJ charts. In 2010 Rothberg released his third solo CD.
