B. B. King Blues Club and Grill Announces Entertainment Lineup, Now thru New Year's

Related:

Goldroom: After the success of his single "Fifteen", which found itself with over 300,000 plays on Soundcloud, the top spot on the Hype Machine charts, features on Pitchfork, Spinner, MTV, and spins on BBC Radio 1, few can say that they've had a year quite like Goldroom.

CINNAMON CHASERS : Cinnamon Chasers is the electro/nu-disco moniker of producer Russ Davies (son of Dave Davies from legendary 70's Rock band The Kinks), described by one of the biggest dance music stores - Juno as "a fusion of Aeroplane, Friendly Fires, Kris Menace and Alan Braxe, with a dash of Vangelis and Jean Michel Jarre thrown in."

CHRIS MALINCHAK: Coming out of New York City, Chris Malinchak is a legendary house producer and one of the most well known of the French Express crew. He brings a sound of Nu Disco, Funk and House that sounds more like an entire band's composition than one man working with electronics, a feeling that to his extent is hard to come by. His driving beats pair with such a natural grasp on musical composition to create an act that can't be missed.

Ada Dyer (given name Adaritha) made her recorded debut on eminent jazz drummer Norman Connors's album Invitation (1979) after her drummer discovered her talents singing the title track. In addition to "Invitation," she was also featured on "Handle Me Gently." Connors invited the vocalist back for his next album, 1980's Take It to the Limit, on which the two scored a Top 30 R&B hit with the title cut. After returning home from a tour with Connors, Dyer auditioned and was promptly hired as the understudy to the lead in a production of The Wiz. In 1981, she relocated from Chicago to New York City, where she continued her work in both jingles and recording. Notably, she became part of the lineup of electro-dance trio Warp 9, best remembered for their trend-setting club hits "Nunk," "Light Years Away," and "No Man is an Island."
