Experience the music of The Beatles when American English comes to Raue Center For The Arts at 8 p.m. tonight, April 2, 2016. Relive a magical time in music as American English takes the stage for a very special two-part tribute!

The first half of the show will feature American English paying tribute to The Beatles with a performance of the "Revolver" album. Released in 1966, "Revolver" is The Beatles' seventh album and was named the third greatest album of all time by "Rolling Stone." American English will perform classic songs from the album including "Taxman," "Eleanor Rigby," and "Yellow Submarine." While performing "Revolver" is itself quite an undertaking, American English will return to the stage for a second set following a brief intermission.

The second half of the show will feature American English paying tribute to Paul McCartney's solo career with "McCartney After The Beatles." The band will perform songs from McCartney's career with Wings and his other solo works. Songs to be featured in the second half of the show include "Hi, Hi, Hi," "Maybe I'm Amazed," "Let 'Em In," "Helen Wheels," and "Live & Let Die."

American English is widely considered the best Beatles tribute band of our time. The band has won the sound-alike contest at Beatlefest for three consecutive years with thousands of fan votes. American English has also won Illinois Entertainer of the Year and has been voted "Best Tribute Band" three of the last four years by their fans in the Chicagoland area. American English is also the only Beatles tribute band to have performed with McCartney's horn section.

Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased online at rauecenter.org or via the Box Office at 815.356.9212 or 26 N. Williams Street in downtown Crystal Lake.
