An annual tradition and holiday favorite in many communities across the country, America's premier Doo-Wop group, The Alley Cats bring their signature doo-wop style, impeccable blend of harmony, side-splitting humor and unbelievable a cappella energy to the Plymouth Playhouse in A Doo-Wop Christmas opening November 28, continuing through January 4, 2015.

The Alley Cats, known for their tight, four part harmonies, are a perfect combination of musical talent and spontaneous humor for audiences of all ages. The Alley Cats In A Doo-Wop Christmas offers a night of music and comedy featuring such holiday classics as Jingle Jangle, Deck the Halls, Feliz Navidad, Do You Hear What I Hear, White Christmas, concluding with an audience sing-a-sing of Aretha Franklin's prayer Let There Be Peace On Earth

The Alley Cats bring their own contemporary style to the great songs of the 50s and 60s having appeared on the Tonight show with Jay Leno as well as opening for him in Las Vegas. They have appeared at the White House, on numerous TV shows and shared the stage with such notable artist as Chubby Checker, The Beach Boys and comedian Jerry Seinfeld. The group originated in 1987 while studying music at Fullerton College when they were a featured act in Disneyland's "Blast to the Past," a salute to the 50s. This long-standing relationship with Disney brought them to New York City where they were featured during the world premiere of Disney's animated film, "Hercules." The Cats are also known for "edutaining" students in their nationally recognized Arts Education programs. They have entertained audiences for more than 27 years earning the title of America's Premier Doo-Wop Group.
