Actor Robert Duvall stopped by CBS's THE TALK to discuss his new film "Wild Horses" which he wrote, directed and acted in. He tells the hosts and guest co-host Carnie Wilson what it was like to work with co-stars James Franco, Josh Hartnett, Adriana Barraza and his wife, Luciana Duvall.

Later, the actor discuss his early career, being roommates with Dustin Hoffman in New York City, working on "The Godfather," and winning the 1984 Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role for the film "Tender Mercies." Check out clips from the appearance below!
