Terrance Howard Joins Cast of FOX Drama WAYWARD PINES

Variety reports that Terrence Howard has joined the cast of M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming series WAYWARD PINES. The actor will star alongside previously announced cast members Matt Dillon, Melissa Leo, Toby Jones and Carla Gugino in the FOX thriller.

The actor will portray a small-town sheriff in the event series that centers on, "a mystery uncovered by a federal agent (Dillon) when he arrives in an Idaho town in search to two missing agents."

The series is set to premiere on the FOX network in 2014.

Howard will soon be seen in the upcoming films "The Butler," "Prisoners" and "The Best Man Holiday." In 2008, he made his Broadway debut, playing Brick in an all-African-American production of Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, directed by Debbie Allen and also starring James Earl Jones, Phylicia Rashad and Anika Noni Rose.

He will soon be seen in the upcoming new feature film adaptation of Shakespeare's MACBETH titled 'MACBETT'
