Orpheum Theatre Screens CLUE Tonight

Tonight, July 10th at 7:00 PM, the Orpheum Theatre's 2014 Summer Movie Series, sponsored by Orion Federal Credit Union, presents the cult comedy CLUE. Audiences can exercise their sleuthing skills in the days leading up to the film through the Orpheum's social media outlets in addition to pre-movie activities on the night of the event.

From Monday, July 7th through Thursday, July 10th the Orpheum will host a Twitter CLUE Game in partnership with Orion. The Orpheum will play Twitter CLUE twice a day, tweeting hints that lead players around the city for a chance to win free tickets to the movie. On Facebook, fans will also be given the opportunity to vote for their favorite ending to the film.

Pre-movie activities on the evening of the movie include an interactive CLUE game in the Orpheum lobby where players will have a chance to compete for prizes, a CLUE-inspired "selfie station" and drink specials. Costumes are encouraged. Doors open at 6:00 PM.

A dark comedy inspired by the classic board-game of the same name, CLUE keeps audiences guessing until the very end. Join Tim Curry as he welcomes six colorful dinner guests to a drippy mansion at the request of the infamous blackmailer Mr. Boddy. When Mr. Boddy becomes the body, everyone's a suspect. Can this kooky group of potential perpetrators identify the murderer before the police arrive, or worse, before someone else drops dead? This feature is rated PG.

The Orpheum Theatre's 2014 Summer Movie Series is presented for a third year by Orion. The series runs through September 5th and includes a selection of films requested by Orpheum movie fans through the Orpheum Theatre's website and social media channels.

Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Packages of ten tickets are available for $50.
