Skybound Entertainment, founded by "The Walking Dead's" Robert Kirkman, has announced it is producing a sci-fi movie titled Air. The film will be produced by Kirkman, David Alpert, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, and Chris Ferguson, with a script from Christian Cantamessa and Chris Pasetto. Cantamessa will make his directing debut.

Air is set to star "The Walking Dead" actor Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead, Boondock Saints) and two-time Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou (Gladiator, Blood Diamond).

In Air, when Earth's atmosphere is all but destroyed, humanity's last hope is the personnel cryogenically frozen in an underground bunker. Reedus and Hounsou play the caretakers of the facility whose sanity is tested as they struggle to survive in the last bit of habitable space on Earth.
