Kevin Costner to Speak at Whitney Houston's Funeral, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin to Perform

People.com reports that actor Kevin Costner will be speaking at the funeral of the late Whitney Houston this weekend. The actor co-starred with Houston in the 1992 hit movie 'The Bodyguard'. It was previously reported that recording artists Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder will sing at the event. Houston's long-time mentor Clive Davis will also be making remarks.

A source close to the family commented, "Clive has been a complete rock for her family this entire time. He's been with her since the beginning, and he's been everything to them. They're leaning on him for emotional support. He talks to them hourly, and he's a very big part in planning her funeral. Clive has been a constant presence for them. They're thanking God for Clive."

The invitation-only event will take place on Saturday, February 18th at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, N.J., where Houston first began singing as a child.

The singer was was found dead Saturday in the bathtub of her suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel at age 48.
