Jon Hamm, Kate Hudson and More Join Larry David's CLEAR HISTORY HBO Film

According to Deadline.com, Larry David has brought together a star-studded cast for his HBO movie Clear History. David will star in the film, which will also feature Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Kate Hudson, Danny McBride, Eva Mendes, Amy Ryan, Bill Hader, Philip Baker Hall and JB Smoove.

Co-written by David with Alec Berg, David Mandel and Jeff Schaffer, the movie is about a former electric car company marketing executive Nathan Flomm (David) who walks away from the company after losing a significant amount of money over an argument with his boss (Hamm). Ten years pass and Flomm has changed his identity to get away from his ruined reputation. Living on a small island, the now Rolly DaVore finds himself face-to-face with his former boss, who comes to the island to renovate his summer home. DaVore is set on revenge.

As mentioned above, Hamm will play Will Haney, Flomm's boss and founder of the electric car company. Hader will play DaVore's friend Rags. Hall is set to play foreman McKenzie. Hudson portrays Rhonda, wife of Haney. Mendes plays island resident Jennifer. Ryan will take on the role of Wendy, DaVore's ex-girlfriend. And finally, JB Smoove is set to play Jaspar, the ex-boyfriend of a local girl.

Clear History begins filming this fall in Massachusetts under the direction of Greg Mottola. Producers include Bradley Thomas, Berg, Mandel, Schaffer, Monica Levinson and Laura Streicher.
