No official word yet on whom Momoa would be playing, though there is some speculation that he could take on the role of Doomsday, assuming the Kryptonian killing machine turns out to be the movie's villain. Another rumor is the Earth-bound alien Martian Manhunter.

Snyder's film will bring Batman and Superman together for the first time on the big screen, along with some of the other Justice League heroes, including Wonder Woman and possibly The Flash.

Affleck will star as Batman opposite Cavill, who will reprise the role of Superman/Clark Kent. The film will also reunite MAN OF STEEL stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane. The upcoming Batman film will hit theaters on July 17, 2015.

Momoa is known for his portrayal of 'Khal Drogo' in the Game of Thrones TV series and recently appeared in the film Bullet to the Head. His upcoming big screen projects include Road to Paloma, Wolves, Debug and The Voyager, as well as the TV series The Red Road.
