Hollywood's legendary El Capitan Theatre presents a special engagement of Disney•Pixar's "Inside Out" from June 19 - August 19, 2015. Before the movie, guests will experience "Music of Light," an all-new immersive stage show featuring 3D Live illuminations intertwine with dances choreographed by Dave Scott, resident choreographer on "So You Think You Can Dance." Each screening also includes Disney•Pixar's new short "LAVA."

El Capitan guests have the opportunity to be among the first to see the film at a special Fathom Event advance screening on June 16 at 4 p.m and 7:15 p.m. This one-night event will include the "LAVA" short, exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from Pixar Animation Studios, Q&A with filmmakers and voice talent via satellite from their Australian tour (tape-delayed), a limited edition "Inside Out" commemorative poster, and a souvenir lanyard that includes a special code for access to digital extras.

"'Inside Out' is the first animated feature projected in Dolby Vision, and the El Capitan Theatre is thrilled to bring this new Disney•Pixar adventure to our screen!" said James Wood, operations and stage productions for The El Capitan Theatre. "In addition to the brand new stage show, 'Magic of Light,' El Capitan guests can enjoy the all-new short 'LAVA,' a musical love story that takes place over millions of years."

Daily showtimes are 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m. and a 9:55 p.m. screening on opening weekend and Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are on sale now, and available at the El Capitan Theatre (6838 Hollywood Blvd.), online at www.elcapitantickets.com, or by calling 1-800-DISNEY6. Special group rates for parties of 20 or more are available by calling 1-818-845-3110. Show times are subject to change.

The El Capitan Theatre will also host a very special Tiny Tot Tuesday every Tuesday during the run of "Inside Out" at 10 a.m. During these special screenings, parents and small children may enjoy the movie in a tot-friendly way-with lights dimmed rather than out and reduced sound levels.
ABOUT "INSIDE OUT"

Do you ever look at someone and wonder what is going on inside their head? Disney•Pixar's original new film "Inside Out" ventures inside the mind to find out.

Based in Headquarters, the control center inside 11-year-old Riley's mind, five Emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy (voice of Amy Poehler), whose mission is to make sure Riley stays happy. Fear (voice of Bill Hader) heads up safety, Anger (voice of Lewis Black) ensures all is fair and Disgust (voice of Mindy Kaling) prevents Riley from getting poisoned-both physically and socially. Sadness (voice of Phyllis Smith) isn't exactly sure what her role is, and frankly, neither is anyone else.

When Riley's family relocates to a scary new city, the Emotions are on the job, eager to help guide her through the difficult transition. But when Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of Riley's mind-taking some of her core memories with them-Fear, Anger and Disgust are left reluctantly in charge. Joy and Sadness must venture through unfamiliar places-Long Term Memory, Imagination Land, Abstract Thought and Dream Productions-in a desperate effort to get back to Headquarters, and Riley.

Directed by Academy Award winner Pete Docter ("Monsters, Inc.", "Up"), produced by Jonas Rivera, p.g.a. ("Up") and featuring an original score by Michael Giacchino ("The Incredibles," "Ratatouille," "Up"), Disney•Pixar's "Inside Out" opens in theaters on June 19, 2015.
