It's almost exactly a month until the Oscars on Feb. 22, Neil Patrick Harris is preparing to host Hollywood's biggest event of the year, and who better to consult regarding the hosting gig than Oscar king Billy Crystal?

With nine Oscar hosting gigs under his belt, Crystal had this to say, "He doesn't need my advice. He's done great with the Tonys. Just keep doing what you're doing. We've spoken, and I know he'll do a great job."

Crystal's co-star in his newest show THE COMEDIANS, Josh Gad (FROZEN, Broadway's Book of Mormon), also commented on the Oscars, jokingly trying to use Crystal's experience to get Gad himself to host the Oscars in the future.

"Billy and I are both campaigning now to co-host the Oscars next year. We're very excited! It's to show commitment," Gad said. "Well, I don't know about co-hosting. This show is fine - this is fine," Crystal responded, referencing THE COMEDIANS. "We're not going to do everything together."

Crystal offered his own alternative gig, "We're going to co-host the Rose Bowl parade, the Christmas parade, the THANKSGIVING parade," he said. "And we're legal in New York, which is great."
