Is living with your ex weird? (Yes.) How do you tell the new person you're dating that you live with your ex? (You don't, it's weird.) Jess and Nick are trying to explain their completely normal situation (It's not normal, it's weird) to the new people they're dating and failing miserably.

Jess is about to go on her third date with Ian and is trying to figure out the best way to tell him about Nick. Nick is no help as any time he mentions it to women he brings home (which is a lot, btw) they immediately leave. He suggests that she mention that he is gay or dying or something to make it seem normal. Jess reveals this to Ian and as predicted, he isn't cool with it, so she admits Nick's gay. And gay Nick Miller is no Jack Tripper. He is breaking stereotypes and selling it hard core until he makes one grave mistake; he brings home a girl. While Jess tries to out crazy Nick's date, Ian starts to figure out that Nick may be straight after all.

Winston is playing his "long game" with the neighbors across the hall by doing household tasks for them knowing it will pay off. Coach isn't fooled and calls him out for being a chump. Winston continues to do chores for them so Coach winds up calling them out for using him. They outright admit it, but rather than lose their handyman, Michelle agrees to sleep with Winston.

Cece is considering a breast reduction which nearly destroys Schmidt. He is so forlorn that his weepy apology to Nick makes Ian finally believe Nick is gay and Schmidt is very obviously gay. Nick's cover is blown when his crazy date comes and kisses him. Jess apologizes to Ian and he leaves. Jess and Nick realize that maybe they're the crazy ones, not the people they date. Ya think?

Nick seems to be barreling through a lot of women post-Jess breakup whereas Jess was saying this was her first? Still not buying the breakup, writers. I'm glad Winston finally caught a break, even if it was a pathetic one. And it's always impressive that even when Schmidt is being downright objectifying and disgusting that he can say something sweet and endearing. I hope they get back to school soon and give Coach a plotline. He's underused lately. Plus, there's so much opportunity for stories at the school, I wish they dedicated more plot time there. Like sexy, science teacher, Ryan. Where did he disappear to and this Ian appear?

MVP - Schmidt, for his bizarre goodbye to Cece's breasts that he aptly named "Harold" and "Kumar."

Runner Up - Nick as Gay Nick Miller. I don't think I need to say anything further.

Lines I Love:

  • Nick - Have some respect, they're called "Uh-Oh's." And I've been through a lot of names, "Pork Pals," "Bone Cronies," and "C plussy hussies."

  • Schmidt - Dear God, if you stop Cece's breast reduction, I'll circumcise Coach.

  • Nick - Am I mad that Anderson Cooper doesn't fly the flag OR for what he's doing, in his own way, is it even braver?

  • Schmidt - I just cried on my penis when I was peeing.

  • Nick's Date - YOU look like my dead friend, Karen. Does anyone ever tell you that?

I still can't figure out the vibe between Nick and Jess. He's helping her with her dating life but as Ian pointed out, that's a lot of trouble to go through for "just an ex." Maybe there's hope for them yet. Do you like Nick and Jess apart or together? Yes, I can admit that FRIENDS was way better when Ross and Rachel weren't together, but it didn't stop me from rooting for them. Thoughts?
