Batman's a writer? According to Variety, Ben Affleck is in talks to co-write a standalone BATMAN movie with DC's Geoff Johns.

Although Warner Bros. has yet to comment, a source told Variety that Affleck plans to put pen to paper with Johns following the release of his newest film LIVING BY NIGHT, scheduled to open in November.

No plot has been released yet except that Affleck will dawn the cape in the rumored film, as in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE and JUSTICE LEAGUE.

The highly anticipated BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE film stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, AMY Adams, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, Ray Fisher, and Scoot McNairy. The DC Comics film will unite the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight for the first time on the big screen.

Directed by Snyder from a script by Chris Terrio, BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE will hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
