The time has come for Seattle to mark its calendar. Dates for 2014's Hop Scotch Spring Beer & Scotch Festival, Fremont Fair, Kirkland Uncorked, and Fremont Oktoberfest have been finalized. The mission of these events is to both celebrate the existing community and showcase what it has to offer in order to attract more visitors to the neighborhood.

Hop Scotch Spring Beer & Scotch Festival

When: April 18 & 19, 2014
Where: Fremont Studios
What: Hop Scotch is the premier beer, Scotch, wine, and whiskey tasting experience benefitting the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF). For one weekend in April, Fremont Studios will be transformed into a Don Draper inspired beverage tasting lounge featuring over 80 libations to swirl, sniff, and sip.

The Fremont Fair

When: June 20-22, 2014
Where: The Fremont Neighborhood
What: The Fremont Fair is the ultimate opportunity to embrace Fremont's "delibertas quirkas" (freedom to be peculiar) culture. Benefitting the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and Solid Ground, the Fremont Fair transforms the Fremont Neighborhood into a universe of self-expression, filled with shops that entice all of your senses, live music, and fun activities for Fremonsters of all ages.

Kirkland Uncorked

When: July 18-20, 2014
Where: Marina Park
What: Kirkland Uncorked is a showcase of art, food, and wine. Marina Park, sitting along the shores of picturesque Lake Washington, plays host to a 21+ Tasting Garden featuring wine tasting, grilling demonstrations, food sampling, and live music and an all-ages Promenade featuring the Uncorked Market, a boat show, and a Food Truck Feast.

Fremont Oktoberfest

When: September 19-21, 2014
Where: "The Center of the Universe" aka The Fremont Neighborhood
What: Fremont Oktoberfest, benefitting the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, is Seattle's Fall Tradition that puts a Fremont twist on a German classic. The "Center of the Universe" transforms into the "Center of the Brewniverse" for a weekend featuring over 100 microbrews, live music from local bands, a Buxom Royalty Contest and the Fremont Oktoberfest 5K.
