Sugar Factory American Brasserie to Celebrate Opening in Rosemont, Ill. Next Month

Sugar Factory American Brasserie will open its first Midwest location in Rosemont, Ill. next month, bringing its internationally-renowned celebrity sweets and signature treats to MB Financial Park.

"There is so much energy and excitement in Rosemont," said Sugar Factory founder and Illinois native, Charissa Davidovici. "The Sugar Factory brand complements the neighborhood so well, and we couldn't be more excited to open our first Chicago outpost at MB Financial Park."

The new 7,000-square-foot brasserie and retail store has the same "MTV meets Willy Wonka" appeal that has made Sugar Factory an international favorite, offering guests an ice cream and coffee shop, two outdoor patios, a main dining room and a chocolate lounge for semi-private dining. Plus, the new Sugar Factory American will offer a variety of its world-famous Couture Pops, which have become a pop culture phenomenon and have made confections a celebrity accessory. Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Rihanna, the Jonas Brothers, Sting, Charlie Sheen, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Drake are just a few of the celebrities who have either endorsed or have been spotted with the sparkly lollipops.

Created by a team of world-class chefs, menu selections include everything from pancakes and sweet and savory crepes to salads, burgers and flatbreads. Appetizers include bruschetta of the day; fried macaroni and cheese; and mini burgers. Soups and salads include zesty chicken tortilla soup; Tuscan mixed greens salad tossed in white balsamic herb vinaigrette; crunchy salad, made with wheatberries and jicama, topped with house-made potato chips; and Caesar salad. Sandwiches and burgers include the chicken and waffle sandwich, made with fried chipotle chicken thighs, cheddar cheese, pickles, maple glazed onions and pecan-smoked bacon; and Sugar Factory's signature burger topped with crispy onions, house-made sauce, lettuce and cheese.

Sugar Factory offers an array of pasta selections, including spaghetti and meatball; and pappardelle with mushroom bolognese, made with baby spinach, parmesan reggiano. Guests may choose from four flatbread selections that include baked potato, made with cream cheese smashed potato, bacon, cheddar, scallions and sour cream; and mushroom, made with whipped brie, caramelized onions, baby arugula and shredded mozzarella. Grill selections include filet mignon served with béarnaise aioli and pommes frites; and grilled salmon, coated in a miso-mustard glaze, served alongside roasted mushrooms and baby spinach.

Sugar Factory's legendary desserts will also be served at the new brasserie. The King Kong Sundae will pack a sweet punch for up to 12 people with 24 scoops of ice cream, sprinkles, caramel sauce, fudge sauce, strawberry sauce, marshmallows, Reese's Pieces, chocolate chip cookies, crushed waffle cones, gummy bears, white chocolate strawberry shavings, sliced bananas, toasted walnuts and whipped cream, then topped off with giant swirly pops. Sugar Factory's decadent shakes, hot chocolate and frozen hot chocolate selections will include the chocolate cookie jar shake, made with Oreo cookie crumbles, chocolate chips, caramel, vanilla ice cream and pure melted chocolate, topped with whipped cream and Oreo cookies; coconut hot chocolate; classic frozen hot chocolate; and peanut butter hot chocolate.

Sugar Factory's premium spirits blend sweet treats with spiked adult beverages, including Sugar Factory's signature 60-ounce alcohol-infused smoking candy goblets. The Lollipop Passion is made with coconut, pineapple and melon flavors, and adorned with candy necklaces and swirly lollipops. The white gummi is a playful blend of fruit and floating gummi worms. The martini selections will include the Blow Pop martini, finished off with a Pop Rocks rim and Blow Pop in the glass, as well as the s'mores martini, a comforting combination of chocolate and marshmallows, garnished with a graham cracker rim.

Sugar Factory American Brasserie will be open daily for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to close and brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.
