Mixologist Tommy Lansaw shares his inventive cocktail recipes for Oscar season that use Jim Beam Black.

Lansaw is a Chicago-based mixologist and finalist from the Red Eye's 2015 "Best Bartender in Chicago" competition. Since 2012, he has manned Wood, a bar where he develops and produces cocktails menus based on seasonal ingredients, simplicity and fun. His creations pack a lot of flavors to enhance the beverage experience for his guests.

Originally from Cincinnati, Lansaw's first break in bartending came while working for an herb and spice business at a local farmers market. It was there that he learned how to best use fresh ingredients in cocktails from a local bar owner, Molly Wellmann.
