SYOSSET, N.Y., Aug. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ Georgi Vodka will team up with Radio Station WFAN to honor retired New York Yankee All-Star catcher Jorge Posada when the Bronx Bombers play the Chicago White Sox at the Stadium Saturday, Aug. 22 at 1 PM. Posada's No. 20 will be officially retired at a ceremony before the start of the game.

Georgi Vodka Girls will be making the rounds at the Stadium during the game to spread the word about one of America's most popular beverages. Georgi has been a big fan of Jorge since he first donned a New York Yankees uniform in 1995. Posada retired in 2011 after 17 seasons with the Yankees. Posada was one of the most popular Yankees of all time, forming one-quarter of the "Core Four," - Derek Jeter, Andy Petitt, Marino Rivera, and Posada.

Posada was selected to play in five All-Star Games in his career. He was only the second Yankee catcher, after the legendary Yogi Berra, to hit 30 home runs in one season. Posada had a career .273 batting average, collected 1,065 RBIs and 275 Home Runs during a stellar career.
