The longstanding Cape Cod icon, Chatham Bars Inn, is partnering with acclaimed Boston-based Chef Jody Adams to offer an exciting seasonal culinary experience at STARS restaurant. The James Beard Award-winning chef behind legendary restaurants Rialto, TRADE, Porto and Saloniki will preside over the summer pop-up's menu and atmosphere, bringing a relaxed yet refined take on classic Cape Cod summer fare, informed by the Chatham Bars Inn proprietary Farm, fresh local seafood from Chatham Harbor and her expertise in Mediterranean cuisine, blending those flavors and techniques with New England ingredients.

A talented chef with deep roots in New England, Chef Jody Adams was recently recognized as one of Boston Magazine's most powerful people in Boston business, adding to her impressive list of career accolades including Food & Wine's coveted Best New Chef award and best restaurant designations from GOURMET, Esquire, Boston Magazine, Bon Apptit and more. Chef Adams is a driving force behind Boston's culinary innovation and has been praised for her creativity, support of local farmers, continuous charitable work, and business acumen. This summer, she will be lending her distinctive fine dining and high volume restaurant experience to Chatham Bars Inn's talented culinary team and programming.

The collaborative partnership between Chef Jody Adams, Farmer Joshua Schiff and Executive Chef Anthony Cole is bound to bring some excitement to Cape Cod. Set against the panoramic views of Pleasant Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, the pop-up experience will capture the sensibility of the iconic resort destination while offering a refreshed and more approachable dining option for summer guests, families and locals alike. Adams encourages diners to loosen their ties with a selection of crudo and small plates such as Hot Grilled Oysters with nasturtium-garlic butter and horseradish deviled eggs and Scallop Crudo with whipped lemon yogurt, melon cukes and turmeric-ginger honey; and Whole Steamed Lobster poached in crme frache with cured olives and bronze fennel; a modern take on JFK's signature Roast Chickenwith Lemon Balm Roast Chicken with basil mashed potatoes and sliced beefsteak tomatoes; and a Grilled Lamb Rack with mint chutney, Hakurei turnips and fried herbs.

Starting in late June, this distinctive pop-up experience will complement the resort's esteemed seasonal programs, which include daily Clam Bakes, full moon and farm-to-table dinners, ocean-side dining, and hands-on culinary workshops at the Chatham Bars Inn Farm.
