In honor of Family Month in August, Bob Evans is encouraging families to enjoy quality time together before the kids head back to school and summer comes to a close. Because family has always been a priority for the company, Bob Evans is celebrating throughout the month with special offers for their valued guests.

"One of Bob Evans' core beliefs is family first, second and third," said John Fisher, president of Bob Evans. "For more than six decades, Bob Evans has been committed to bringing families and friends together around the table to connect over great tasting foods at an affordable price."

Every weekday in August, kids will eat free at Bob Evans locations* with the purchase of an adult entrée. The offer is valid all day, dine-in only. Bob Evans kids' menu offers several creative and fun breakfast creations, such as the Little Piggy Hotcakes - sure to satisfy even the youngest food critic.

Additionally, every Saturday and Sunday in August, guests can enjoy popular menu items, including the Slow-Roasted Turkey & Dressing, USDA Choice Sirloin, and Blackened USDA Choice Sirloin dinners for only $8.99 each when they dine in after 4 p.m. Each entrée is served with two Farmhouse Sides and freshly baked bread.

"Mealtimes can be the only time some families spend together without any distractions, which is why it's so important to enjoy a home-cooked meal at places that rely on the same family values that are so close to our own home rules," said Noelle Kelly, blogger at Opera Singer in the Kitchen. "At Bob Evans, we know we're not only going to enjoy a farm-fresh meal, but we'll be dining where they focus on hospitality, teamwork, respect and quality - among many other qualities."

Visiting Bob Evans during Family Month - and every month - not only gives families a friendly place to enjoy a home-cooked meal, but it's also a reminder that every guest is a member of the Bob Evans extended family.

"Dating back to the days the Evans family gathered around their own dinner table in Rio Grande, Ohio and when Bob opened his first restaurant, our company's focus has always been on serving the best food and creating experiences to bring families together," said Fisher. "Although our menu has evolved to meet our guests' demands, our core values, including providing excellent and innovative menu items served with the highest quality and service have remain unchanged."
