Skip the trip to Napa. The very first "Uncorked: NY Wine Fest" will be at the Metropolitan Pavilion on Saturday, July 16th. The increasingly popular national wine tour will thrill wine connoisseurs and many more. It is much more than just your average wine tasting, it's an all-encompassing sensory experience for wine and food lovers.

The festival will feature over 50 wineries with more than 100 wines to sample, a dedicated Champagne bar, international wine market, a video DJ, custom photo booth and blind tasting bar. Wineries include Adelaida Cellars, One Hope, Piper, Iron Horse, Foley Estates, Cannonball, Curtis Winery, Alta Cellars and Champagne Taittinger (subject to change).

An artisanal food bazaar will feature both sweet and savory delights available to purchase and pair from top eateries in the city that include Tres Carnes, Brooklyn Oyster Party, Murray's Cheese, Haru Sushi and Red Table Catering.

"Uncorked Wine Festivals have toured the country and have had extremely successful sold-out events in cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Chicago and Kansas City. I'm so excited to now bring the party to the Big Apple," said festival founder Michelle Harris.

Guests are invited to sip and savor the moment at Uncorked: NY Wine Fest with two ticket options to choose from. Early VIP admission will begin at 2pm, providing ticket holders with an extra hour of tastings, shorter lines and exclusive wines that will be poured only during that hour. General admission will take place from 3pm - 6pm. VIP entry is $70 and general admission is $60. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.uncorkedwinefestivals.com.

Cocktail attire is requested but not required. The event is for ages 21 and over only.
