URBANESQUE'S striking and evocative performance debuts at Virgin Mobile's Mod Club in Toronto this coming Valentine's Day weekend. This unique production, inspired by Urban Dance, Musical Theatre, and Cabaret features the artistry, skill and strength of female dancers with a distinct urban flavor. URBANESQUE can be seen tonight, February 15 & the 16th, 2013 at the Virgin Mobile Mod Club located at 722 College Street in Toronto.

Creator, Director and Producer, Hollywood Jade's vision blends the distinct styles of urban dance, musical theatre and cabaret to life for today's audience to experience. "Women are as strong as men in dance and it need to be seen. I wanted to create something truly unique that unites uncommon worlds. Urban dance has been typically male dominated with woman being highly objectified most of the time. I saw an opportunity to create a show that empowers woman and bridged the performance gap by showcasing woman's amazing diversity, strength and sensuality." says Jade.

The dancers in URBANESQUE are professionals who have worked with such artists as Lady Gaga, Drake, Divine Brown, Luther Brown, Backstreet Boys, Kardinal Offishall, and Nelly Furtado to name a few. They have appeared in TV shows such as So You Think You Can Dance Canada, MuchMusic Video Awards, the Juno Awards and much more. Their commercial clients include MuchMusic, MTV, Wal-Mart, MAC Cosmetics, Xbox Kinect, ABSOLUT VODKA, and Athletes World. Each of the performers, both men and women, are top industry professionals who are passionate about delivering the story and message of URBANESQUE.

URBANESQUE is designed to appeal to Adults 19 and over with the underlying goal of having audiences experience a blend of old and new in a way that is relevant to today's culture.

Tickets can be purchased online at Eventbrite.com or at Joy of Dance Center located at 95 Danforth Avenue at Broadview Avenue or online at www.joyofdance.ca.
