The Ware Center Presents 'Steps in Time,' 3/10

On March 10, the Ware Center/Millersville University Lancaster showcases "Downtown Dances: Steps in Time." The showcase is a collection of performances by dozens of dancers from nine local dance studios in eleven new pieces by local and regional modern, contemporary and jazz choreographers.

"Steps in Time" is conceived and produced by Jennifer A. Berlet, Kim Jureckson, and Priscilla Kaufhold. Speaking for the group, Berlet said "we continue to be stunned by the level of talent in Lancaster. This is a great opportunity to show off the best we have in a unique, striking evening of dance on a world class stage." It will be held at 4 p.m. at the Ware Center, 42 North Prince Street, Lancaster, PA.

Extremely popular when "Downtown Dances: An Evening with Gershwin" was presented for the first time last year, this early evening of all-new performances should again prove popular. Get your tickets early. A family-friendly reception will follow the performance.

Discounted parking passes at the Prince Street Garage and the Hager Parking Lot are available upon check-in at the front desk at the Ware Center.
