Take Root and The Leopold Group Set for Varner Recital Hall at Oakland University, 2/7-8
Lovers of contemporary modern dance should take note of two upcoming concerts featuring Take Root and The Leopold Group. Presented by the Oakland University Dance program, the innovative dance companies will perform at 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7 and Saturday, Feb. 8 in Varner Recital Hall.
Co-founded and directed by OU Dance faculty members Thayer Jonutz and Ali Woerner, Take Root is a professional dance company with a growing reputation for its collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to concepts and movement.
