Strand-Capitol to Welcome National Acrobats of the People's Republic of China, 11/12

On Nov. 12, 2014, downtown York's historic Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center will welcome The National Acrobats of the People's Republic of China. Tickets are on sale now to Strand-Capitol members and go on sale to the general public on Thursday, April 3 at 10:00 a.m.

This troupe has been thrilling audiences of all ages for over 60 years with their spectacular stunts. Colorfully costumed acrobats and contortionists defy gravity with their jaw-dropping, nail-biting signature acts such as "Global Motorcycling," "Diving Through Moving Hoops" and "Aerial Bungee Tumblings."

As one of the most highly acclaimed acrobatic companies in China they are considered performing arts ambassadors since their performance at the White house in 1972 as guests of President Nixon.

This is a must-see performance for the entire family with a special family-friendly curtain time of 7:00 p.m.!
