SSU Rohnert Park Hosts Fall Dance Concert 2014 Tonight

Always exhilarating, unexpected, professional and thoroughly entertaining - Sonoma State University dance concerts feature SSU dancersperforming new, cutting edge dance works - each with a different aesthetic sensibility. The Fall Dance Concert 2014 features original student choreography and direction by Christine Cali, founder and Artistic Director of San Francisco based Cali & Co.

The creative talent of SSU's dance artists is celebrated with inventive movement, bold and expressive dancing and adventurous choreographic choices and a wide variety of dance styles and genres, including hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and ballet.

The performance tonight, Nov. 20 will be followed by a post show discussion. Friends and Family performances are at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21 offering SSU faculty, staff and students free admission and standard, senior and visiting student admission for $5.

Performances will run Nov. 20 to Nov. 23, 2014 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov 20, Friday, Nov 21 and Saturday Nov. 22; 9:30 p.m. Friday, Nov 21 and Saturday, Nov. 22; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23 at Sonoma State University, Evert B. Person Theatre, 1801 E. Cotati Ave., Rohnert Park, CA 94928.

From the South entrance on East Cotati Avenue, turn right at the stop sign in front of the information kiosk. Park in Lots E (left) and F (right). Parking in SSU lots is $5 at all times. Permits may be purchased from the vending machines located at the entrance to parking lots, or at toll booths when available.

Free. $10-$17. Admission prices to performances range from $10 to $17. Sonoma State University students are admitted free for all performances with valid ID. Tickets are $10 non-SSU students and seniors; $15 Sonoma State University Faculty and Staff; and $17 standard admission. Box office: 707-664-4246. On performance nights, depending on the venue, the Person Theatre or Ives Hall box office will open 45 minutes prior to the event start time.
