In celebration of RDT alum William (Bill) Evans' 75th birthday, Repertory Dance Theatre presents a full evening, solo concert. The show will include tap works, modern dance pieces, as well as video and slide demonstrations.

Executive / Artistic Director, Linda C. Smith states, "At the start of our 50th Anniversary season, RDT is proud to present one of our most prestigious alumni dancers as he celebrates his 75th birthday and incredible career of dancing, teaching, and choreographing."

William (Bill) Evans danced with Repertory Dance Theatre from 1967 through 1974, before forming his own internationally-renowned company. Evans has choreographed more than 200 dance works, 18 of them for RDT. He was named one of the country's three favorite tap dance artists in a recent Dance Magazine readers poll along with Savion Glover and Brenda Bufalino. He is known for his dynamic range, expressivity, musicality and his unique fusion of rhythm tap and modern dance.
