Founded by a group of Dartmouth students in 1971, Pilobolus brings exceptional creativity intertwined with versatility and physically challenging choreography seeking to challenge the way in which we consider dance. Witness it for yourself at the Van Wezel on February 12 at 8pm.

The pinnacle of dance entertainment, Pilobolus will open your eyes to the state of the art with; leaping, flying, mirrors, poles, chains, platforms and plenty more that will mesmerize you from start to finish. The company provides "...one example after another of how the human body can be seen as so much more than what it is." NewYorker.com

More than just a Dance Company, Pilobolus strives to inspire and engage audiences around the world through performance, education and consultation. Pilobolus has received much recognition and praise including: the Berlin Critic's Prize, the Scotsman Award, the Brandeis Award, a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Cultural Programming, the Samuel H.
