Oakland Univeristy's Arts-After-Work series will present TAKE ROOT tonight, February 7, 2013 at 6 pm.

Shifting Sol and soduo, contemporary dance offering an artistic exploration based on themes inspired by trees. Choreographers Thayer Jonutz and Ali Woerner, in collaboration with multimedia specialist Alvin Hill, celebrate continuous growth and intricacy.

The Varner Mezzanine will be open at 5 pm for people to meet and mingle.

There will be a second Take Root performance on Friday, February 8 at 8 p.m.

Tickets: $14 general, $8 students.
