The activity-packed Open Houses will be fun for children and adults alike, featuring open classes, dance demos and raffles. Classes and demos will include Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Breakdancing, Tap and African Dance. The new Cynthia King Dance Studio is located at 21 Snyder Avenue, between Flatbush and Bedford Avenues.

"Dance enlivens us all. We dance to communicate, celebrate, improve our bodies and explore artistic impulses. Through consistent practice, we gain the most valuable life skills-discipline, self-control and confidence," said Director Cynthia King. "We've been proudly serving Brooklyn families for 12 years on Prospect Avenue. We are so excited to have built our new flagship studio in Flatbush, where we'll reach many more dancers and have a grand space for classes, events and performances"

A vital part of Brooklyn's rich dance culture since 2002, Cynthia King Dance Studio promotes traditional dance training and innovative live performance. The CKDS curriculum embraces classical to emerging styles, inspiring dancers to strive for both technical excellence and meaningful artistry. Students experience real-world performance opportunities, participating in numerous local events as well as a stunning annual series of CKDS dance concerts staged in professional venues. CKDS prioritizes individual attention, innovative performance and community involvement to create a unique and personally rewarding experience for all of its dancers and their families.
